TIM HOLTZ 12 Tags of 2012- April Tag

Hi Crafters!

Here's my take on the April Tag of  Tim Holtz 12 Tags of 2012...

Now please be kind ....

Since I don't have several items that Tim used on this month's tag,

I have decided to improvise but as much as possible I tried

not to sway away from Tim's design...

Here are most of the materials that I used to make my April Tag:

Since I don't have the texture fade that Tim used; I decided

to use my Stampers Anonymous stamp which had a

similar design to the texture fade... although it was bit

too small for the tag... and also I used the movers die for

the bird and the branch... I haven't had the chance to get

my hands on the new ones yet!!!!

As for the embossing powders... I was happy to be able

to use my Ranger Clear amd Copper Embossing powders!:)

Ok, as you can see I planned to use the crown stamp from Stampers Anonymous

 that I hand-cut and embossed with copper embossing powder....

but as I was putting everything together... the crown looked just a bit too big for the

bird... so I decided to use another crown from my stash.

As for the wordings... I don't have the metal word band but I found a stamp from my

Stampers Anonymous collection which had the same message... so I stamped

it on metallic paper and embossed it with copper embossing powder and used my tim holtz

distresser to slightly distress the edges....

Ok, enough talk!!!  Here's my April Tag.... let me know what you think :)

I'm quite happy with the outcome! 

I will be working on my February and March Tags tom night just so

I could catch up on the 12 Tags of 2012 challenge!
