Sizzix Scallop XL Die

Here are two mini books that I made for my friends --- using the XL Scallop die from Sizzix.front covers

Here are some of the pages....

Some of the materials I used in making these 2 mini books are: DCWV Paper Stacks, Kraft Folders, Cuttlebug embossing folders, 3-D stick-ons , gem stick ons, Fabric Flowers, Ribbons from my stash, Ink from color box and of course, sizzix XL die (scallop) and sizzix large scallop tag die.. K& company stick on borders... and some acetate for the cover page.

Home of the "Yummyish"

Here's another project... ENJOY!

I literally made this book from scratch--- It was a lot of work but fun since I was making a home for the hundreds of photos I took of my son's cute little feet and legs!  I just love to smell those tiny little toes of his :)

I made use of old kraft folders as the base and covered it with different patterned papers I had--- I have a lot lying around which I've been wanting to use--- and they really came in handy.

I used scrap cardstocks as well--- to use as Journal spots.  As for the small envelopes ( which housed my journallin) for my son--I used the sizzix tiny tags with envelopes.

As you can see, I made the roof of the house removable :)  there are 20-25 photos inside this humble little home :) and there is a small tray for the house as well.

Oh and for the door knobs--- I just used vintage looking gem brads!  It really made the project nicer.

The Slice by Making Memories

Sorry it took a long time to get this out---- The SLICE is amazing :) I am really glad I have it. The design cards are great too--- my ultimate favorite is Noteworthy! Fabulous designs to choose from!
