Birthday Loot Bag Goodies

Hi Crafters!

As promised... Here are the goodies inside the loot bags for my son's Halloween-themed 6th Birthday party last October 25 in his school!

Aside from the Craft Kit consisting of Pumpkin Frame, Halloween Activity Book, and Colored Fangs.  Now, what's a loot bag without sweets, right?! :-) So, inside the white halloween bag are jelly treats, ice candy and some soft candies!

Pop-Up Invitations: 6th Birthday (PUI-065)

Hi Crafters!

I finally finished the birthday invitations for my son's school party!
We decided to make it simple yet fun and interesting:-)

This is what we came up with... Had to make 30 pcs of these... Labor of love for my little man, Enzo.   He'll be turning 6 on the 6th of November but since we decided ( more of... I decided :-)) on giving out Halloween-themed loot goodies we had to make sure to have the party before Semestral Break, which starts on Oct.26 ! So he's having his Birthday Party in school really early... On October 25 :-) .

Here are photos of some of the invitations...

Some close-up shots ... We used 4 colors on the base cover of the invitations:

Dark blue

Lime Green

Dark green

Light Blue

On each invite... We stamped his name " Enzo" and his soon-to-be age "6".
Decorated the cover a bit by adding a birthday border and a dimensional party hat sticker
which we also paper "pieced" together.

As you open the invitation, the word " PARTY" will pop-up! We just used nice thick cardstock
for each pop-up.
We then stamped-on the " You're Invited" at the bottom part of each invite. I wanted to add a "personal feel"  to the project , so I decided to just write the details of the party :-)

At the top portion, there are 3 candy swirls that we stamped on glitter paper... Seeing this,
Enzo then asked... " Mom, u mean I can eat plenty of candies during my party in school?" Hahaha.
I told him he could eat 3 just like I the invites! :-)

Here are also some photos of the loot bags:-)

For the loot bag tags I die-cut a megaphone design and stamped on his name and the number 6
to match the invitations... I also embossed each megaphone with numbers...

I am sure you guys are curious on what's inside the loot bags right ?! Sorry, but I don't want to
Ruin the surprise just yet! Check out my blog again real soon... I will definitely add a photo of the fun goodies inside :-)

Twistee Photo Cube Ornament (TPCO-500)

Hi Crafters!

For the past 2 years I make sure that I add a few new ornaments on our tree every Holiday Season... And this year, this is what I am adding :-)

It's a Photo cube ornament--- that flattens (for easy storage and mailing) with 1 quick twist!:-)
Plus, this cute little twistee photo cube can be used for all kinds of occasion and themes!

Want to make your own? Send me an email at kraftymom74@gmail.com or LIKE my page on Facebook under " Kraftymom's Crafts" and send me a personal message.

Anyway, going back to the project, maybe the photos can explain it better:-)

So, it'll start out flat like the photo below...

But after adding some photos on the 3 sides of the box ( you can put up to 5-6 photos depending on your design) the photos will add a bit of bulk and texture and if released, it will look like this....

With just one careful twist to the right...the photo cube will stand and expand look like this!
AMAZING right??!!! :-)

Here are photos of the other sides...

And the bottom of the box :-)

And to close flat again... It'll just need a twist down to the right! Easy!

Can't wait to hang this on our tree this year!:-)  oh, the photos I used are the ones that highlighted my son's activities for 2013. Which gives me an idea to make 1 for every every from the year he was born!

Banner Book Duo: "YANNA" (BBD-750)

Hi Crafters!

Some you must be wondering what a " Banner Book Duo" is? :-)  It is simply a Banner and a Photo Book rolled into one project.

I designed this book for a 6 yr.old girl ,and since we all know that the materials and time used in making any project that is 100% handmade is not at all easy---- always fun but not always easy :-). I decided to give the banner a "lifetime" purpose by using it not only as a banner (for decoration) but as a photo book as well.

Creating something from the heart is what "Paper Crafts by Kraftymom" is all about--- and this one surely is one them.

For this Banner Book--- Each Banner Page is used to spell the name Y-A-N-N-A.  Every page has a thick acrylic covering to protect the photos that will be placed on each page.  ( Each set contains 6 pages-- to spell whatever you want, like F-A-M-I-L-Y,  L-A-U-G-H , L-O-V-E... Etc.
If the word you chose is less than 6 then you can use it to hold more photos :-)

**EXTRA pages is also available ( with additional cost per page.)

Here's a closer look on each banner page:-)

Here is a look on the back-side (more space for photos)

When the banner is not used for decoration the string may be removed and replace with metal ring binders or even just some colorful trimmings to bind the pages together to turn it into a Book.

You can now display this photo book on your mantel, coffee table or anywhere you see fit for it to be enjoyed by friends and family :-).

To order, send me an email at kraftymom74@gmail.com or like my page on Facebook "Kraftymom's Crafts" and send me a personal message.

Party Stuff: Bottle Cap Resin Necklace (BCN-100)

Hi Crafters!

I know, I know!!! Been so quiet for almost a month already... Sorry :-)

Just been super busy with early Christmas orders and some birthday goodies! ☺️ Not to mention that I'm also preparing invitations and other party stuff for my son's upcoming 6th Birthday!  I just wanted to share that he is so excited to have his halloween-themed party which will be held in school in a few weeks!  We both love halloween... I love it for the bright color papers and embellishments that I get to use with color black... Which I rarely use in my other projects!:-) and my son, he loves halloween for the obvious reason of course! He gets to have and eat lots of candies!!!

Now, going back to the project that I am about to share today... I absolutely enjoyed making these adorable bottle cap resin necklaces! Here's a sneak peek...

Will post more photos soon!:-)
