SIZZIX XL DIE Suitcase "COLOR ME " Suitcase Project -You're Sew Nice

Hi Crafters!  

This post is another project using the sizzix XL die- suitcase design.

As you can see I am really starting to love using this die!!!!

it's  simple but fun project to do--

all you have to do is stamp an image on 

the suitcase or whatever box you decide to  use

and start coloring!!!! 

I used both copic and tria markers,

Kit Includes the following:
1 suitcase (DCWV)
Front Image - Basque (Stampington)
Back Image: There is Time... (Teressa Collins)
12 pcs Paper Clips Die Cut -4 sizes  (My Mind's Eye Paper)
12 pcs Paper Clips Die Cut - 4 sizes (Ledger Card)
1 Tassel

I stamped on one of the clips to use as gift tag :)

I colored the Basque image using Copic and Tria Markers 

I also distressed the edges of the suitcase using Ranger Distress Ink - Antique Linen

I also distressed the clips... for a more vintage feel .

I used Hero Arts Stamps with this suitcase.

and of course I just had to turn this into a sewing kit!

STAMPS NEWSPAPER PROJECT: "The CRAFT Daily "

Hi Crafters!
This new project was  inspired by a school project that I made when I was in college,
although I will have to say that the memory of it was triggered after I saw
Donna Salazar's "Crafty Chronicle" Newspapers! :)
 Since I couldn't get my crafty hands on one her newspapers...
I decided to make my own,
but instead of using bits and pieces of the newspaper
I decided to use it  as a scrapbook----- here it is!
 My Very Own "the CRAFT daily" paper ....
  it's still a project in progress
 ( still need to add more photos  to color some images ,
and  to add light weight embellishments).

The best thing about this project is that I was able
to use a lot of my STAMPS!!!!!

The pocket is where I can insert a scrap paper to prevent
the colors from showing on the other side of the page
that I'm working on :)

I colored some stamped images using COPIC markers :)
